Putting Together Care Package for this Family!

I am in need of handmade blankets desperately! I have none in stock when I come across a family that could benefit from one of my care packages. If anyone out there would be so kind help me with locating some handmade, quilted type blankets - This would help my ministry so much and be able to reach more families!

I Just Wish ...

I wish I could find a source for homemade quilt type blankets for these kiddos.... Have someone I would like to send a package too at the hospital right now but it always seems like it's a blanket issue and not getting any!

Gonna do some more research again on finding someone willing to sew for me until I get a sewing machine myself and of course learn how to use it. LOL!

Blessings to Ally ...

I was able to ship this package to a girl named Ally - They had a house fire and lost everything as well as her father. I wasn't able to send a whole lot but hope this helps! She received a handmade blanket, an activity book with crayons, a handmade hair bow, a doll, a box of candy. Just wish I could have done more but with funding being an issue, I am doing what I can! I have received a few monetary donations and am so grateful for those - Thank you so much! I will get those thank you cards in the mail!

Blessings go out to you Ally and your mom!

Surprise Gift Inside - Fundraiser

FUNDRAISER for Leah's Hope - $20 and I will ship, please just add $5 for shipping. If you would like one, just click on the "Donate Button" to the left and send me a message stating it's for a cupcake.

I am making these really cute (non edible cupcakes that you can attach a message to or place a gift card in or even place cash in it - what a great gift these would make for some one when they open them up and get a surprise!  These cupcakes look almost edible, especially from a distance - all made out of paper, flowers and ribbon.

ENJOY!

Great for any occasion!

What Have I Been Up To?

Been planning a very special Father's Day for all the Dedicated Dad's at the Hospital with their child! Just wanted to give everyone an update of what I have been up to.... I have also been working on another project for the kids down the road ...

I need a little creative help - I would like to do something really special and of course creative for these families and every child in the PICU. There are 24 beds so if all beds are full - this is why when I present items to the hospital, I come with 2 dozen items in hand so no one is left out and any over flow can be taken to the NICU - With that in mind - I have been thinking of Christmas even though it is half a year away - It takes awhile to come up with something and then follow through with it.

While I was in the hospital with Leah during the holidays, for doctors visits, etc, Santa came to our room and she received a stuffed bear as well as a picture with Santa. Stuffed animals are usually always given as gifts at hospitals, etc - I would like to come up with something more creative for the child and the parents - If anyone has an idea - I would hope they would leave a comment and give me a few suggestions.
