I am adding a yearly, ongoing item to my Ministry and wanted to share this as well!.... I want everyone to know how touched and appreciated we are for any generosity given to this ministry! So, in turn, my goal and plan is to provide handmade, personalized cards to hospital families - So, I have 2 plans for the cards.
One, for the ones who make any kind of donation and then one for the "love baskets" to offer words of encouragement – “thinking of you” “praying for you” “someone cares” – that kind of thing. Even Birthday cards for the kids and then for the parents - Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Cards to be able to give to parents of kids in the hospital each year – How tough it is to see your child in the hospital on Mother’s or Father’s day? I've been there on all occasion - It is pretty difficult celebrating a child's birthday in the hospital!
Many people respond and share great blessings to hospital kids for Christmas and such - but what about their special day? I want to share compassion to these families that they are thought of!
